Grand Total

We will be paying for our treatment in full next week, so fundraising is about done. We had a few more additions to the funds this week from Google Ads, my Mary Kay party and some clothes of Calista’s I sold. Those items brought in $1,106.49 so that puts our total money raised to $7,285.18. Not too shabby, considering we raised that amount in 10 weeks. That’s $104.74 a day raised!

Our funds raised left us only $5,849.71 short of our total needed amount of $13,134.89 so we have taken an extention on our home equity line of credit (HELOC) to make up the difference. I had submitted some forms to our Heathcare Spending Account (like a Flex Spending Account) and if they get the reimbursement to us before the money is due, we’ll only have to put $5,000 on the HELOC and that would be great!

Like most people, we’ve already got debt and taking on another $13,000 of debt was just not financially reasonable for us. So, we started fundraising and it has helped SO MUCH! Thank you to everyone who has helped us come so far in this journey already.

My husband and I are about to begin IUI followed by IVF (if necessary) and like most others, do not have any fertility coverage on our insurance plan. Do you have any ideas for fundraising to help come up with the money? Initially, we are looking at needing to raise $8,000. If all goes well, that is all we will need. Any suggestions?
