I started the Synarel (nasal spray) on Sunday. For those familiar with IVF, it does the same thing as Lupron. Day one was ok. It stings a little and it kind of makes me sick to my stomach when it runs down the back of my throat. Ew.
However, it also seems to make me really bitchy. Well, more so than usual. Every little thing just grates on my nerves today! It makes me weepy, too… a trip over my throw rug this morning made me cry. The hot flashes don’t help, either, I’m sure.
I just have to remind myself that this is what I have to do if we want to have another baby. Friends have told me that it took a few days, but they did adjust to their suppression meds, so I’m hoping this will ease up soon.
My poor family. :(
