In other news, we received a generous and deeply appreciated family donation of $2,000 to our IVF funds! We are almost halfway there…
We’ve also got a procedure date, and our estimated egg retrieval (ER) is March 29th. That’s only a little over a month away, and I’m both excited and nervous. I’ve got a call in to apply for a program through Fertility Lifelines to see if we can get some of our meds for free this time… if you qualify, Sorono (a pharmaceutical company) will give you your Gonal-F (which I did not use last time, but my RE said I can use it) and the hCG trigger shot. It wouldn’t save us a ton, but everything helps! I should have my application soon, but I hope there’s time, as I am supposed to start my meds on the 10th or March, if I recall.
We are still waiting on taxes and are just keeping our fingers crossed VERY tightly that we get money back this year. That would be a big help.
We’ve also gone ahead and got a new credit card that has a 0% APR on all new purchases for the first 15 months, so hopefully that will help. We don’t know the limit we were approved for yet (still waiting on the card) but if we can put the difference on there, no interest will be great!
Anyhow, that’s it for tonight… I hope to see more contest entries, soon! We have two entries that I am waiting on photos for, which puts us at 11 — we need 13 more to have a valid contest, and more than that to actually make any money, but hey, giving away an iPod would be fun, so let’s get at least 25, my friends!!
