The Mind of Calista
Yesterday, I tried to explain to Calista about the eggs in my body and how they will be taken out to make baby seeds, and the baby seeds will be put back in. I’m also feeling pretty tender right now, and told her that I can’t be picking her up a lot. So last night, she wanted me to carry her upstairs, but I told her she needed to ask Daddy to, because I had to be careful of the eggs in my tummy.
We got upstairs and did the bedtime routine, and she was asking questions about where the eggs are, why can’t she see them and the like. Then, we read stories and it was time for hugs and kisses. Normally, she gives me a “big squeeze” for my hug, but last night, she barely hugged me. I asked her for the big squeeze and she said no because she didn’t want to “break the eggs”.
She has got to be the cutest thing ever!

OMGosh, what an adorable story. Calista is such a blessing. ((hugs))
Sommer…..what a sweet, sweet story!
