Fertilization Report

Well, it’s not so good. I guess we’re lucky we had all those eggs because out of ten mature eggs, we only have three embryos. They said they did ICSI on all ten, and only five fertilized (normal is 75 – 80% fertilization). Out of those five, only three fertilized normally, so there you have it — three. Now we wait. They said expect to come in Wednesday for a five-day transfer, and we won’t hear from them unless we lose all three. I’m just praying we don’t get that call that there’s nothing to transfer.
Please keep us in your thoughts. We’re finding it very hard to be positive right now.

I am sorry you didn’t get the report you were hoping for. I will pray hard that all three make it to the transfer! Hang in there. Know that there are a lot of people thinking about, pulling for and praying for you, Skip, Calista and those precious embryos! I am proud of you! (((HUGS))) Take care, Kathy :)

Keep thinking positive! I am thinking positive thoughts for you and I hope with all the people you have pulling for you, we can WILL at least one of those embryos to successfully transfer and implant! Keep your chin up and keep thinking positive. We have to have hope b/c if you don’t have hope, what else is there? :)
