Today is already day 2 of shots and meds. Last night’s first shot went fine — like we never stopped. Should be a breeze this time around, I guess. We’ve only got 10 days until the egg retrieval already. Seems time is going fast.

Tomorrow morning, I start my nasal spray (Synarel) and tomorrow night we start our shots. Our egg retrieval is just 12 days away, which seems so close, but yet so far away. I am realizing that I have high hopes of this working, as I have been freaking out lately as to how on earth I am going to manage working at home with a newborn. I suppose I would not be worried about that if I didn’t think it was going to work, right?

Today was my first ultrasound for our IVF. Everything looks good, so tomorrow is my last birth control pill, then we start shots on Sunday. It sure doesn’t feel as exciting as last time. I’m just trying to stay relaxed in hopes that this time… it will work.

Sorry I posted the photo winners and then disappeared. I spent all of last weekend working on a site renovation (which still has bugs to be worked out) and then got the flu on Tuesday night and have spent most of my week in bed. Not fun.
