I’m just not sure what we are going to do about an OB. My current OB/GYN, Dr. M, was awesome when I was pregnant with Calista. I’ve always liked him. However, his is the office that refused to see my last Tuesday, when I was spotting. Read the rest of this entry »

Pregnant Glow. That is NOT what I have going on right now. Hopefully, I will encounter it soon, for everyone’s sake, but right now, it’s more like the Mask of Death.
I was terribly sick when pregnant with Calista and hoped I’d get passed over by the sickness fairy this time, but she has visited me twofold. I am entirely grateful to be so ill, but I may need to post a reminder of that on the underside of my toilet lid soon. In all seriousness, I’ll take it! After being dicked around all morning by my OBs office, I give up. No one is going to see me, apparently. After waiting 2 hours for my OB’s office to call me back, I called the RE. They said that there’s an 85 – 90% chance it’s nothing, it might be a threatened miscarriage, or it’s possible that we’re losing a twin. They said they would do an ultrasound, but their machine isn’t as good as the OB’s and they wouldn’t see much, so they told me to call my OB to have an the ultrasound. Read the rest of this entry »

I waited 1/2 hour after the doctor’s office opened and when I hadn’t heard anything, I called again. They said the nurse had my chart and would call me back when she was done seeing a patient.
The nurse called me back and basically asked me everything I had already said on the answering machine this morning, and then said I’d likely have to “wait it out” but she’d talk to the OB and then call me back. Read the rest of this entry »
