Finally!
I called the lab again to see if they straightened things out and they had — and they had the results! I thought for sure they were going to have screwed something else up, but fortunately, they got it right and did a Beta hCG.
The number today is 1,434 which is doubling time of 38.19 hours (thank you, BetaBase.info calculator). The Beta levels should double every 48-72 hours in early pregnancy, so 38.19 hours is great!
I also did a little chart at BabyMed.com to compare my numbers to “average” and it looks like they are a higher than the average singleton pregnancy, but only time will tell if there’s really one or two babies growing right now. Calista is certain it’s two — a boy and a girl. :) For what it’s worth, though the numbers started similar to what I was at with Calista, they are doubling much faster!
I guess this concludes IVF #2, as I’m done with RE procedures and have been released to my OB/GYN now so I’ll just be posting updates in the “Baby on the Way” category. Wow.
