So I guess I’m working on a once-a-week update schedule these days…

Let’s see. I had an appointment on Thursday (May 24th) but it was totally boring. I just sat there and answered the nurse’s list of questions about my health and history. Had a blood draw, pee test, and that was it. I did, however, go to wash my hands before the pee test and notice that my wedding band — which I wear on my right hand — was gone. Sorry I haven’t been updating much. I’m just sicker than anything and tired and stressed. I don’t want to post and gripe about how awful I feel and hurt the feelings of those whom I know would kill to be in my shoes (or my queasiness, I suppose). But let me post my disclaimers that (1) everyday I am thankful for the miracles we’ve been given and (2) this post will contain a lot of complaining about how I feel right now. My friends have come out of the closet and announced their pregnancy on their blog. Kathy and Brian received a positive blood test after their first FET (frozen embryo transfer) with snowbabies created during their first IVF attempt. Kathy and Brian have been trying to get pregnant again after a tubal reversal after the tragic loss of their baby boy, Aiden. One of my online friends who has been so supportive through our IVF struggles has just gotten a positive pregnancy test after their second IVF attempt!!! Their Beta (blood test) isn’t until tomorrow, so they haven’t announced it yet, but I’m so excited for them I could burst! Stay tuned to find out who. :)

I am so glad to see that my “babies” over on the right side of this blog are actually starting to look like babies and less like aliens. It was kind of freaking me out.

I spent most of the day in bed today. The “morning” sickness is getting me good. It’s all day, and it’s really this taste in my mouth that’s killing me! I get this foul taste in my mouth that no amount of tooth-brushing, candy-sucking, gum chewing or other remedies can get rid of. And once I get “the taste” I get sick. This is so dumb, but I was posting a message on Connected Moms for some morning sickness help, and when I posted, I saw my signature It has some blinkies that say “Due in December” and “Expecting Twins” and a picture of Calista next to the ultrasound photo, as well as my pregnancy ticker.
