10 weeks 3 days
So I guess I’m working on a once-a-week update schedule these days…
Let’s see. I had an appointment on Thursday (May 24th) but it was totally boring. I just sat there and answered the nurse’s list of questions about my health and history. Had a blood draw, pee test, and that was it. I did, however, go to wash my hands before the pee test and notice that my wedding band — which I wear on my right hand — was gone.
The only thing I could figure was it slipped off when I took of my jacket for the blood draw, but the lab techs looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. I looked in the waiting room and couldn’t find it. I had no idea when I even lost it, so it could have been at home, in the van, at the OB’s office, in the lab… as we were leaving the lab a woman asked what we were looking for and when I told her, she looked under her chair and found it. Thank goodness. Needless to say, I won’t be wearing it for a while if it’s so loose it can fall off without me noticing.
Friday night we set up the tent in the backyard and had a camp out. We had a fire, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows ans slept in the tent. I don’t think I’ll ever eat another roasted marshmallow as long as I live — they made me so sick and I woke up sick the next morning. Ugh.
Saturday we went to Canada to visit some of DHs friends and spent most of the day there. We hung out, watched the kids play, played a little croquet (first time doing that, it was actually fun) and just had fun. It was a pretty good day, but this morning I have a headache and have felt sick. I think I overdid it.
We took the belly picture last night (a day late — oops) and if you’re really diligent, you’d have seen it posted on my Belly Pictures page last night. :) But here it is — I’m visibly pregnant already!

Good to hear from you. The campout sounds fun! What a great belly shot! And so glad you found your weddding band – that happened to me when pregnant and the fear that went through my mind! I felt your anguish! Glad it all worked out ok!
