Today was the “big” ultrasound where they look at every last bit of each baby and check for abnormalities. It was one hour per baby — a LONG ultrasound for sure, but very cool too get to watch them for so long. Especially when they were beating on each other! I think I posted that we got the cribs a few weeks ago and built them (I’ll take a picture eventually…). They are set up in the nursery and I’ve been going through Calista’s old things, as well as things our friends have given us (they had a baby boy) and washing and folding all the little gowns and blankets. Right now, the cribs are there with all kinds of teeny outfits and such in them and I like to just peek in the room and look at them from time to time. (Read on …)

I’m still having my up days and my down days, and today has definately been a down day, unfortunately. I went for a much needed hair cut this morning and almost passed out in the chair. The poor hairdresser was frantically getting me water and looking for a paper bag, while asking for my husband’s phone number. Everything went black for a few seconds, my hearing went and I got really hot. It happened a few times, but I never actually passed out. I feel so bad, I must have really scared the hairdresser!! Here is the 16 week belly picture. Sorry I look so haggard, we were at the mall (Calista and I) shopping for Skip’s birthday tomorrow. I am feeling better these days… still have my IV and still have bad (sick) days, but overall, much better. Now my issues seem to be back/tummy pains and shortness of breath. Whew!! (Read on …)
