Meet the Boys!
No, they haven’t been born, but we did have a 3D ultrasound today, which was my early 30th birthday present. We got some really great views of Baby A. Unfortunately, Baby B was in an odd position, and the technician didn’t seem interested in trying to get him on screen. I offered many times to lay on my side, drink water, or something, and she’d just check B for a few seconds, and go right back to A. So I have a ton of pictures of A and just ONE picture of B.
She didn’t even put the picture on the CD, so I had to scan the black and white one, and it’s not very good. I am going to talk to the woman who runs the place (she wasn’t there today) as we’ve been to her for IUIs and ultrasounds, and I hope she’ll let us get something more of poor Baby B.
We think that they both have Calista’s nose. Baby A appears to have Skip’s mouth. Baby B has a smaller mouth and wider set eyes, from what we could tell. Here is Baby A:

I also had a cervical check with my OB, and everything looks good. Cervix is 3.1 cm and no major funneling. We’re starting to think that the reported 2.3 cm I was at when admitted to the hospital on September 11th was a mistake or transposition of numbers, because there’s no record of it anywhere in my file — it’s always 3+ cm. That’s a good thing, of course!
Also, I get my PICC line out tomorrow!!! I’ve gone 8 days without an IV or IV push and we’ve decided that I can manage other ways from now on, so I am very excited about that.
All in all, it was a pretty good day. :)

Congrats on getting your PICC line out! I’m sure you’re more than ready to be rid of that. The boys are just the cutest. I hope you can get more pics of Baby B.

Absolutely handsome!
the babies pictures are great. Hang in there with bed rest. Each week longer makes it a shorter hospital stay for the boys. I will say for me having time to recouperate a little before my two came home helped a little.take care
What a happy post! Glad to read things are going well and you’ve made it to your next goal of 28 weeks. I hope things continue on the positive for you – you’ve had to endure so much and you deserve some time to enjoy the end of this pregnancy!
