I think that the chiropractic treatments are really helping Ace. He went twice this week, and already I’ve noticed a lot more quiet alert time, smiles, and cooing. I’ve also noticed that when he is on his back, he will look straight up and not to the right all of the time. Skip doesn’t seem to notice as much of a difference as I do, but he’s also not home with them all day. Read the rest of this entry »

My mom and niece were here over the weekend, and seeing other people’s reactions to Ace’s “colic” made me realize that I need to really figure out what is going on with the poor guy. I had already completely eliminated dairy from my diet, and that wasn’t making much of a difference. I decided that the next step would be hypoallergenic formula to see if I needed to eliminate more from my diet. Read the rest of this entry »

Skip is back to work, Calista is back to school, and I am back to being alone with the boys. After a hard week, they are actually being pretty good today. I think they get a bit overwhelmed with the noise and activity when everyone is home, because for all of the screaming they did when everyone was home, they are pretty quiet and pleasant today!
