Becoming a New Man
I think that the chiropractic treatments are really helping Ace. He went twice this week, and already I’ve noticed a lot more quiet alert time, smiles, and cooing. I’ve also noticed that when he is on his back, he will look straight up and not to the right all of the time. Skip doesn’t seem to notice as much of a difference as I do, but he’s also not home with them all day.
For example, this morning, I spent over half an hour just talking and playing with both boys. That was unheard of a week ago — Ace wouldn’t last 2 minutes let alone half an hour!
Even now, it’s 10:30 am and Ace has been awake since 9 am. After he got tired of playtime on the floor he fussed a bit, but then I put him in the swing — without a pacifier — and not so much as a peep. He’s just enjoying himself and starting to doze. This is heaven!
Sure, he still has his moments, but so does Nate. And even if it doesn’t get any better than this, I will be thrilled. It’s nice to actually be able to enjoy him instead of just trying to calm him, and it’s nice to be able to enjoy time with Nate without worrying about Ace screaming constantly.
I have to cut this short since my breakfast is ready, but I wanted to post an update on Ace. Hopefully he continues to be much happier as he is now!
And since I posted a picture of Ace last time, here’s a gratuitous Nate shot for you to enjoy:

Awesome! I”m so glad the chiro seems to be working.
So glad to hear that Ace is doing better! It’s nice to know that you can enjoy both your boys!
Beyond THRILLED to hear this update. Amazing!
Thanks goodness Ace is doing better – sounds like he’s enjoying the relief!
Yea for chiro!!! That is such good news that he’s doing so much better.
It is awesome that the boys and you are enjoying each other. I think that it is great that you are having Ace see a Chiropractor. I took my Jessica in for an adjustment soon after delivery myself. I used to take my older daughter who is autistic. Believe it or not it helped with her constipation and even ear aches. It is not covered under our insurance and thats why we are not going still.
