Moving On…

Tonight we spent an evening with friends of ours who are moving to Texas next week.  It’s the last time we will see them until possibly Christmas, as they said they will be coming back for a family birthday.  We’ve known them for a little over two years now, and our daughters have known each other longer as they were in day care together. Amazing

I love those quiet moments where I am suddenly consumed by the miracles that are my children.  This morning, I had been thinking about our first IVF and the three embryos that did not grow into babies.  I wondered who they might have been and quietly mourned their loss.  I would have loved to have known them as I know Calista, Ace and Nate. Silly Boys

These boys can be so goofy sometimes.  Right now, I am nursing them and Ace is looking up at me.  If I look down at him, he giggles.  And Nate was just cracking up at the sight of a headband Calista wore that had fuzzy hearts on top of it the other day.  It’s so fun to see the little things that amuse them! 4 Month Check-Up

The boys had their 4 month well baby visit on Thursday.  Ace is now 10 pounds 1 ounce and 21 3/4″ tall and Nate is 11 pounds 8 ounces and 22″ tall.  Funny that they are almost identical in height, but a pound and a half different in weight! Read the rest of this entry »

A Quick One
