Two posts in two days… what are the chances? I *really* don’t feel like working at all right now, and I have another great photo to share, so I figured what better way to avoid being productive than to post again? :)
The boys are doing well. They have a well baby check (4 months!) tomorrow. Ace is 10 pounds now, and Nate is 11 pounds 8 ounces… gee, I feel like I’ve already posted this info, so forgive me if I am repeating myself… I posted a video of them a few posts back, and there are more here: http://video.cronck.com
Their colds seem to be past the worst part and they are on the mend, though I now have the cold. Such is life.
The weather is getting nice here and I can’t wait until the time when I can just have them outside on a blanket in the sun while Calista rides her bike. Heck, I can’t wait to ride my own bike again!!
Speaking of Calista, we’ve turned in our application for her to start Kindergarten at a private school. I really, really hope she gets in, so keep your fingers crossed. I also hope that they will have enough parental interest in a full-day program, as that would work out so well for me with work and save us so much money (no more daycare).
We’ve applied to private school because she doesn’t make the public school cutoff (cutoff is August 31 and she was born September 5) but she is more than ready for Kindergarten. Holding her back a year would be unfair to her — she already talks about how excited she is to go to school and loves practicing spelling and math. She’s going to do great… I wonder if I will cry on her first day?
Still waiting to hear on some of these financial aid applications I filled out for the medical bills. One needs to be dropped off in person tomorrow. I hope both boys are screaming when I get there just so they feel sorry for me. Ha ha!!
Man, what happened to the days when I had funny things to post about? I think I am too tired to be funny any more. My brain is mostly mush these days. I really cannot WAIT until the boys go more than 2 hours between feedings! Oy! They do take 3-4 hours naps during the day, but when they are awake, and after the first time they wake in the night, it’s every 1.5 - 2 hours. They should be getting past that soon, right?? Mama needs some longer stretches of sleep.
Well, now that I have realized how utterly boring this post has turned out to be, I will just share the picture I wanted to share with anyone reading. I just love it. The shirts are from Just4Twins.com, and my friend Cherie sent them to us (as well as Calista’s “Big Sister of Twins” shirt). Ace is smiling and look at Nate’s eyes — they are stunning!
