Silly Boys
These boys can be so goofy sometimes. Right now, I am nursing them and Ace is looking up at me. If I look down at him, he giggles. And Nate was just cracking up at the sight of a headband Calista wore that had fuzzy hearts on top of it the other day. It’s so fun to see the little things that amuse them!
They are getting so big and doing more and more each day, it seems. Nate is really interested in playing with his hands and talking, and Ace likes to roll over and feel things (different textures). They’ve also each spent a little time in the exersaucer — though they still need a pillow to support them in it — and there is a little clear barrel with a frog and some beads in it that they like to spin.
It’s hard to believe that they will be 5 months old in just 3 more days! The time is going so fast. While I look forward to sleeping through the night, it makes me sad to think about just how fleeting babyhood is…
Sommer, “fleeting” is exactly what it is. I bet it seems like just yesterday Calista was that age. Look at her now. I’m so glad you’re able to be home and enjoy this time.
