Remember Me?
I’m here. Tired and busy, but here. :)
The boys are doing great. They turned six months old on the 19th of April. Nate weighs 13 pounds 15 ounces and Ace weighs 11 pounds 15 ounces. Big boys!!
Nate rolls from back to tummy and enjoys making high-pitched squeals. He’s really into bouncing — when I nurse him, if his feet touch the back of the chair, he pushes off over and over to bounce… if you stand him up, put him in his jumper or exersaucer, he’s just bounce-bounce-bounce. It’s funny because I remember Calista doing the same thing. He also has developed quote the temper and sure can scream when he wants something and he’s not getting it!
Nate’s Conversation with Daddy
Ace is still a moody little guy — he goes from laughing to crying and back to laughing in a split second. He also “crawls” on his back — I call it the reverse inchworm. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen… her arches his back so he looks like he is doing a back bend (or bridge) except on his head instead of with his hands. Then he flaps his arms and pushes with his feet to get where he wants to go. Get a load of this:

At least the boy has style!!
We’ve got the boys both sleeping in their cribs for naps, and sort of sleeping in their cribs at night. I say sort of because they go down well, they sleep for 3-4 hours at first, but then they seem to wake every 2 hours wanting to eat. We’re working on correcting that, but it feels like we will never have a full night’s sleep again.
Work is busy. I’m doing my web/graphic design, my work with ACG, ConnectedMoms.com, running my homeowner’s association and I said I’d do the local Mothers of Multiples web site. And I wonder why I’m so tired?? I need to learn to say NO and then say it! My plan is to get the MOM club website updated and programmed in a way that no one needs to know about web design, FTP or anything else to keep it updated and eventually pass that on. My presidency of the HOA is a two year term, and I’ve been really delegating a lot of it, so I think I’ll be ok there. I can always resign early if need be, but once everything is underway, it should be fine.
Eventually, I’d like to quit my web/graphic design business and just work for ACG, but I don’t know how feasible that is. It’s an idea I’ll be visiting more seriously in the fall.
Well, it’s getting late and I still have things to do, so I better cut this short. I’ll try to do a better job of updating.
