Let It Snow!

We’ve got our first snow of the season happening right now.  Well, that’s not exactly true.  It happened last night, and now it’s just on the ground.  And man oh man is it ever COLD out!  It gets so windy it’s insane.

I was so tired today.  I dozed on and off in the living room today until noon (gotta love Skip who lets me get away with that from time to time) and just felt like I could have slept all day.  The Mothers of Multiples club was having a kids’ Christmas party today, and Calista was so excited for it, so I took her to do that.  Even though it was a twin club party, I didn’t take the boys as Nate had been up all night (probably why I was so tired — I don’t know what his deal was last night!) and Ace was still napping as we were about to leave.  Anyhow, she had a good time (as did I) and she even got a gift from Santa — a pink dragon Webkinz.  Unfortunately, she took the tag off and left/lost it at the party, so now we can’t go online with it.  Seems I have to buy a new one to get a new code.  What a pain!

We ran some errands after that, like picking up our Christmas cards at Costco.  Normally, I design them myself, but I just haven’t had time this year.  I am disappointed in the ones we got, but I don’t have time to re-do them, so if you receive a card from us, I apologize in advance!

After the kids were in bed, K (the nanny) and I went to Beachwood (a membership campground down the road from our house) to hang out in the hot tub.  It was great, and needed.  My neck has been sore — the spot that was injured in the October car accident — and I’ve been having headaches.

Speaking of accidents, the Pacifica goes into the shop tomorrow.  Sounds like we are getting a Hyundai Accent as our rental.  Niiiiiiice.  We would upgrade to a van again, but we’d have to pay for that ourselves and get reimbured later — who knows how much later.  At least with the Accent, insurance pays for it upfront.  We just don’t have any more money to put out there thanks to accidents.  I can’t wait to have my vehicle back.  It’s going to take two weeks.  Boo!
