Walk On, Momma!
Every year since the boys were born 9 weeks premature, my mom has walked in the March of Dimes March for babies. The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality, and the money raised will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
I don’t walk because we don’t have on in our area, but I do donate to my mom’s efforts and help her raise money. She’s walking on April 24th — with a broken foot this year! — and her goal is to raise $200. She was up to $90 after I donated this afternoon, and as of right now, she’s at $290! Go, Mom!!!!!
