Just One More…

…or perhaps two.

30 weeks

We are 30 weeks today. It feels like I’ve been pregnant forever, but it also feels like time is going by quickly… if it’s possible to feel both of those at once.

I’ve been having low back pain and period-like cramps, so I called my OB and they had me in for an FFN. It’s a test that gives you a positive or negative result — a positive means you are likely to deliver in the next two weeks and a negative means you are not likely to deliver in the next two weeks. A Shower and A Belly

Filed under: Babies on the Way, Belly Pictures — Sommer at 10:31 am on Sunday, September 30, 2007

Last night was our baby shower that our friend Lindsay put together for us. It was so nice, and we had a really great time. Lindsay made appetizers and desserts, we had roses on the table, tea lights, wine (not for me, of course!) and just a really nice “adult” atmosphere. Calista donned her birthday dress and was a perfect little lady. (Read on …)

Then and now…

I was looking at my belly pictures from when I was pregnant with Calista, trying to see which was most comparable to where I’m at now.  It seems that my 36 week belly with Lulu is the closest comparison. (Read on …)

The survival rate at 24 weeks ranges from 30-70% and of course we don’t want them born anytime soon, but just knowing we’ve reached that goal is a good feeling. In another 4 weeks — 28 weeks — the survival rate goes all the way up to 90%! (Read on …)

22 weeks 1 day — As the Belly Grows

Filed under: Babies on the Way, Belly Pictures — Sommer at 10:17 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2007

No wonder I am in pain these days. Goodness, the belly is large! I am happy to say, however, that so far (fingers crossed) I really am “all belly”. I just look like me with a big old belly. See what I mean? (Read on …)

20 weeks — Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

Filed under: Babies on the Way, Belly Pictures — Sommer at 8:59 pm on Friday, August 3, 2007

We’ve reached milestone today — 20 weeks!  Halfway there if you’re using the traditional 40 weeks gestation of a singleton pregnancy, and more than halfway there for twins!  Yay!  Next goal is 24 weeks — viability.  And the belly… (Read on …)

Grow Babies, Grow!

Filed under: Babies on the Way, Belly Pictures — Sommer at 10:18 pm on Friday, July 20, 2007

Well, it’s belly picture day, but I forgot to have Skip take one before he left, so I took my own with the tripod. I think I did a pretty good job. :) (Read on …)
