Well, here I am at 36 weeks. Four weeks until my due date of March 20, and I am so miserable I can’t help but hope Shiloh comes a little early like her big sister did (37w3d)! I had an OB appointment today, and he gave me his blessing to “go any time now”, but I don’t think Shiloh is listening. I will be reminding her daily, though. Continue reading
I thought it would be fun to compare my belly through all of my pregnancies in one collage of sorts. :) The numbers in parenthesis next to the kids’ names is how old I was (or will be) at the time of delivery. Continue reading

Holy Mary, there’s a reason my body hurts so much lately! 28 weeks… 12 (or less!) to go…
We’ve made it to 24 weeks! 24 weeks is “viability,” or the gestational age where should she be born, doctors would work to help her survive. Obviously we don’t want her to come any time soon! but knowing we’ve reached this milestone is reassuring.
My struggle the past week has been our plans for her birth. I’ve had a Cesarian section so I can either try for a VBAC (vaginal birth after Cesarian) or elect for a repeat c-section.
Due to all that happened with the boys’, I do NOT want another c-section if I can avoid it. My doctor is supportive of this, but the problem is he’s a family doctor and the hospital will not allow him to attend a VBAC. :( The means that I will have to have a hospitalist – an OB that only works at the hospital – deliver Shiloh. That’s fine, but it worries me because this will be a doctor I’ve never met, who won’t know me, my history or my wishes, and I feel that the risk of ended up with a c-section because it’s easier for the hospitalist is high.
