Oh goodness! What a day! He' gonna be super-cute and I hope they help him. A month to wait for his glasses is excessive. What's the deal with that?

I just made your recipe and it is extremely easy and tastes awesome! I put my rice mixture into the food processor for three minutes per batch and I had hardly any pulp left at all, maybe only two tablespoons from the whole recipe after straining through cheesecloth lined strainer! My milk is silky smooth. I use Take-n-Toss too and don't think this will clog it at all.

The only thing on your list that I can see happening is getting in the shower with them. I still do that on occasion. Definitely get the dri-aid kit.

I recommend a Dri-Aid kit or a Dry & Store unit for humidity or accidental shower or rain incidents. We've used a Dri-Aid jar for years now, but since my DS got his new aids, we are looking to buy a Dry & Store unit. Also, we bought insurance on his first pair of aids when the warranty was up.

I'm sure as an adult there will be an adjustment period, but hopefully the improvement in your hearing will be worth it! Hang in there Sommer :)

If you're worried about the shower thing, could you put a note to yourself in the bathroom?

Good luck; I hope they are a big improvement for you.

I hope you love them. I'm sure there will be an adjustment period, but hopefully it will be a short one. My dad and one of my good friends both have hearing aids and it has made such a difference in their lives!
