Bibs!

I love these little bibs.  They are simple and soft, and I make them with flannel and a terrycloth backing so they are as absorbent as can be.  The bib surface measures 5.5″ long by 7.5″ wide and they have a plastic snap closure.  Machine-washable.

A Super Baby Gift Set

Recently, I was asked to do a gift set for a baby shower.  Two bibs, two burp cloths and a pair of baby booties.  Unfortunately, the fabric choices for this set were all unavailable, so I had to dig through what I had.  One of the flannels I had on hand was a Superman print, so that’s what we went with.  At first, I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out, but now that it’s done, I think it’s perfect!

Financing Infertility

Recently, I was contacted through this blog by a reported for AOL who was doing a piece on financing infertility.  I responded to him and we did an interview for his piece.  He had three couples — one was starting their journey, one was pregnant, and one had succeeded (us!).

I think his article turned out well, and hope that it gives hope to others in both finding ways to pay for treatments, as well as having success with their treatments.  Also, I hope that it helps others who still feel shame or a stigma attached to infertility speak up.  You’d be surprised how many people you know who have struggled in one way or another, and infertility is no exception!
