Thanks to Kathy’s blog, I saw the current RESOLVE infertility (IF) education campaign taking part in conjunction with National Infertility Awareness Week (April 24 – May 1). The gist of it is this: post a “What if?” question relating to IF in the comments of the Stirrup Queen’s blog now through April 16th. Then they will choose 10 “What if?” questions and part two of the project/contest will be announced at that time. No idea what part two will be, but I posted my question (#316):

We’ve got our cycle schedule for the upcoming IVF. I did a side-by-side comparison of them below, as the RE said they’d be “more aggressive” this time and get more eggs. IVF #1 was supposed to be a 5 day transfer of the embryos, but because we only had three, we opted to have them transferred on day 3. We hope that this time we have enough embryos that we can let them go to day 5 in the lab, allowing us to pick the best of the best for transfer. There are more days of medication post-transfer, but I didn’t include them in this schedule.
