It is so nice to be back at home and have the boys here. I’ve been going to the hospital at 8 am and feeding Nate followed by Ace at 9 am. I stay with them and feed them again at 11 am (Nate) and 12 pm (Ace), and Skip has been coming by on his lunch breaks. They are in the same room now (unlike Seattle) and the nursery is so small that it’s very quiet and peaceful. I am enjoying having them there.
The doctor talked to us today and said the boys are doing great. No apneas (stopping breathing) in 5 days and very mild bradies (drop in heart rate and oxygen saturation). Most of their episodes (which are few) need no intervention. At most, they get a pat on the head and everything is fine. They look so cute in their onesies and are still working on maintaining their temps so they can move to a crib.
We got to have them out together today. It’s the first time they’ve been together since before they were born!

Calista stopped by a little later and held each of her brothers, too. She’s a very adoring big sister. :)

That’s great Sommer! They look like they’re doing so well. I love the pictures of Calista with her brothers. :) She does look like she’s up to something with Ace though, I know that look so beware. ;)
I didn’t know they separated twins, i know here they keep them together, as it’s proven they grow faster, are more settled and are happier when together.
I’m sure they’ll come along in leaps and bounds now they are together again!
Those are touching photos! They look GREAT!
