And I am supposed to go 8 more weeks? And then what? Deliver a 12 pound baby? HA HA HA… this is getting rather ridiculous! But before I post a picture, a little update…
First, I started a baby pool for my own amusement. You can place your bets on when Shiloh will arrive, how big she will be, etc using the banner below:
Second, I am holding out since the accident. My upper back is really hurting, which balances out the lower back pain of pregnancy nicely (that was a JOKE). I am seeing my massage therapist twice a week to try to keep it from getting too bad.
We took the van for an estimate to get it fixed and they said that the trailer hitch – which we just had put on this summer – really saved us. They also said that hitch likely did a hell of a number on the other person’s car (I was really in too much shock to make much note of how her car looked). They will have the check the hitch and all the wiring when it’s fixed to make sure it’s all in working order, but nice to know it came in handy. :)
I’ve been weaning off my meds slowly. So far, so good. I’ve cut down from 3 doses a day to two, and cut my Zofran in half. Baby steps! Hopefully I can continue to cut back on my meds and make it through the rest of this pregnancy without being too sick – I don’t think that’s too much to ask!
Otherwise, my belly just feels like it’s going to rip away from my body any minute. And it’s not surprising, considering how freaking BIG it is!
